This section is where I experiment with various subjects and the key to this one is to highlight the beauty of imperfection (Wabi-sabi).
A meditation in monochrome. The peony, traditionally a symbol of bravery and honor, is stripped of its vibrant colors to reveal its structural soul. This was an exercise in finding the balance between yielding to the water and controlling the brush.
